In the waters of Lake Winnipegosis lives a monster by the name of Winnipogo. The first notable report of this lake beast was by Oscar Frederickson, who was out on the lake hunting ducks in 1918. He saw something strange move a large block of ice in the water. Winnipogo is often described as “dinosaur-like” or “serpent-like”. A few times, it was said to have a horn atop its flat head.
